Hello, my name is Kyle Verrette. I am a junior at the University of Colorado in Denver, where my major is Digital Design. I was born in San Jose, California, with a caring mother and father who encouraged and nurtured my design skills. I chose the BFA in Digital Design as my major because, as a child, I grew up drawing and painting, and I loved art. I also have a vivid and unique imagination, which is one of my many talents. My mother is also an artist, which helped to influence my decision to pursue a career in art and design. From an early age, my mother also went through the process of teaching me how to draw and paint when I was young. Art has always been at the center of my universe, and it has also helped me develop problem solving skills, as I view the world through an artistic lens. I also have enjoyed photography and can share my photos in new ways of thinking that nobody else could easily imagine.

As I continue through my education, I constantly try hard to express my artistic vision, which eventually led me to my passion, which is art. Art has since then been my escape from the world that surrounds me, as it gives me a place to express my emotions. My desire for creative art has continued to grow even further due to programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe products. By moving out of my home and going to the University of Colorado, I was able to pursue my dreams as a digital designer, as I would have access to all of these platforms and more. When I graduate from the university, I would like to move back to, The Silicon Valley, and work for a large tech company such as Adobe, Apple, Google, or Nvidia.
